Bank Lviv entered into a strategic agreement with the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation (DFC) aimed at providing Ukrainian entrepreneurs with critical financial support to help stimulate economic activity. As part of the partnership, Bank Lviv will receive loan portfolio guarantees worth USD 40 million, enabling the bank to expand its lending capacity to local businesses.
The DFC funding, provided by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), will allow Bank Lviv to offer Ukrainian businesses access to financing with favorable terms and minimal collateral requirements. This initiative will be especially useful for entrepreneurs interested in implementing investment projects obtaining loans with partial collateral coverage. The agreement also provides key support for Ukraine’s importers and exporters, enabling them to replenish working capital with limited collateral.
“The $40 million guarantee from DFC is an important step towards strengthening Ukrainian business. Our entrepreneurs get access to financing that meets their real needs. This is the third important deal we have concluded with DFC. Such consistency confirms the unwavering faith of the international business community in the potential of the Ukrainian economy,” said Ashot Abrahamyan, Chairman of the Board of Bank Lviv.
Today, the country needs urgent recovery. Bank Lviv continues to support businesses, helping them to create jobs, introduce innovations in production and replenish the state budget.
